Talk2Group iPhone™ Setup & Use

Step 1: Download Talk2Group

First you must download and install Talk2Group. At the present time Talk2Group is available on two platforms, both Android and iPhone.

Open up our Download Page and follow the iPhone link to the App Store.

Install Talk2Group as you would any other application on your iPhone.

When starting Talk2Group for the first time you will be asked to begin your registration.

Step 2: Personal Information

During the registration you will need to fill out some of your details.

You will be prompted to enter:

1. Your full name,
2. Your mobile number,
3. Your email, and
4. Your country of residence

Your name is required to allow others know who invited them to a group call.

We need you to enter your mobile number so that we can validate it.

Step 3: Terms and Conditions

Please press "Yes, I Agree" to accept the Terms and Conditions and you will be returned to the previous details page.

Press "Next" to continue with your registration.

Step 4: Registering

After pressing 'Next' you will then be sent an SMS with an activation code to verify your phone number.

When you receive the text take note of the code and press "Close".

Enter your activation code and press 'Next' to complete your registration and create your profile.

Step 5: Set Up Complete!

You have successfully registered as a Talk2Group user and have landed on the main Talk2Group screen.

You can now begin scheduling group calls with friends and colleagues.

Step 6: Set Up Group Calls

To setup your first group call, you simply:

• Enter a subject, e.g. "BBQ on Sat"
• Add Contacts
• Schedule
• Invite

Step 7: Enter Call Details

Enter a Subject

Enter a subject for the call which will be displayed to your invitees.

Add Contacts

Press the add contacts symbol and simply browse your contacts list for invitees.

Schedule

With Talk2Group You can choose to create an immediate call or schedule it for later.  You can do this by tapping the schedule icon, selecting the time and pressing "Save".

Step 8: Invite Contacts

Finally you need to press "Invite All". Your invited contacts will receive an SMS with a number they can call to join. For scheduled calls they will receive an SMS informing them when the group call will take place. They will also receive another reminder SMS 10 minutes before the group call is due to start. This will contain the number they need to call to join the group call.

Step 9: Recall previous group calls

You can also recall and use previous group calls. Simply select "Call History" and then tap on a previous call, add/delete contacts if you want to and then press the "Repeat Call" button.

Step 10: Joining group calls

To join a group call simply press "Join" and your phone will dial the Talk2Group number.

Step 11: Leaving group calls

To hangup a group call simply press your phone's hangup button and your call will be hung up. Please note that the other participants can continue to use theservice. You can also rejoin the call if it is within 45 minutes of the start time of the call.
