Talk2Group launches in USA and UK

Mobile to mobile voice conferencing with no PINs ... Talk2Group is now available in the USA and UK on iPhone and Android.

Talk2Group version 1.3 supports:

  • Android and iPhone
  • Participants in USA, UK and Ireland
  • Scheduled Calls

For scheduled calls, all participants are invited by SMS and sent a reminder to join the call 10 minutes before it starts.
 

Talk2Group Now available on Android

24th MARCH 2011

Talk2Group, the simple mobile conferencing app, is now available on the Android platform as well iPhone. To get the app you can visit our download page or you can go directly to the Talk2Group Android Market page.

Talk2Group is free to download and like normal calls uses your mobile price plan minutes. You can invite friends and colleagues to participate in a group call without cumbersome PIN codes and access codes. The people you invite don't even need a smartphone, they will receive a sms invite.

Talk2Group plans to keep expanding and will release versions on other mobile platforms in the future.
 

Scheduling Feature added to Talk2Group

Version 1.2 has just been released. This release includes scheduling and a number of smaller changes and bug fixes.

With scheduling you can schedule a group call for a future date and time. Your contacts will be invited (by SMS) and reminders will be sent just before the call starts.
 

Talk2Group launches in Ireland

After an extensive 4 month trial, Ammeon's Talk2Group service is now available to all mobile users in Ireland.

Talk2Group makes voice conferencing as easy as:

  • choosing contacts from your address book and
  • clicking "Invite"

Your friends or colleagues receive an invitation by SMS. Selecting the number in the message allows them to join the call. Only the originator of the call need have a smartphone.

Talk2Group is ideal for doing business meetings on the fly without the flight, for getting the whole, team together before the big match or just for getting your friends and family together for a chat.
