These Terms & Conditions apply to all dining experiences, events, private bookings, and hospitality services provided under the name 風 | Flossie & Fern (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By making a reservation or attending an event, you agree to the following terms.
1. Nature of Experience
Flossie & Fern operates as a small, hosted hospitality space offering:
Seasonal set menus
Private dining experiences
Afternoon tea service
Special gatherings and curated events
We operate with limited seating and often prepare ingredients specifically for each reservation.
2. Reservations
Reservations are confirmed upon written confirmation (email or booking confirmation).
For certain events, prepayment or deposit may be required to secure your place.
Due to the intimate nature of our space, capacity is strictly limited.
3. Cancellations & No-Shows
3.1 Guest Cancellations
For standard dining reservations:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the reservation incur no charge.
Cancellations within 48 hours may incur up to 50% of the menu price.
Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may incur 100% of the menu price.
For private events or exclusive bookings, specific cancellation terms will be outlined at the time of booking.
These policies reflect advance ingredient sourcing and preparation.
3.2 By Flossie & Fern
In rare circumstances (illness, severe weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen events), we may need to reschedule or cancel a service.
In such cases, guests will be offered:
A rescheduled date, or
A refund of any prepaid amount.
4. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
Guests must inform us of allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
While we take care in preparation, our kitchen is not an allergen-free facility.
We cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
Guests attend and dine at their own discretion.
5. Guest Conduct
We ask all guests to:
Arrive on time
Respect the property and furnishings
Maintain a calm and considerate atmosphere
We reserve the right to refuse service if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
6. Property & Safety
Flossie & Fern operates within a private property setting.
Guests agree to:
Move carefully within the space
Follow any guidance provided by the host
Supervise children at all times
We are not liable for personal injury or loss of personal belongings except where required by law.
7. Photography & Media
Guests may take photographs for personal use unless otherwise requested.
Professional photography, filming, or commercial use requires prior written consent.
We may occasionally photograph the space or table settings for documentation or promotional purposes. Guests will not be identifiable without consent.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellation or interruption due to events beyond our reasonable control, including:
Severe weather
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Transportation disruption
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the reservation or event.
We do not guarantee specific experiences, emotional outcomes, or subjective satisfaction.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
